POIMENA RESERVE

Public BBQ

Poimena Reserve is a popular location for disc golf, with an excellent and challenging course. It has lovely views of the mountain, Derwent River, and city. The park also offers a playground, Frisbee, and walking tracks. There are several picnic shelters, BBQ facilities, and tables, with some covered huts. Toilets, including disability toilets, are available. The park is suitable for children as it has a fenced playground. Visitors can bring dogs and walk them around the big open spaces. Some reviewers noted that the park requires moderate fitness to walk around and has a steep hill.
